day with daddy

my own personal style

in the mornings when mommy is choosing my clothes i like to pull myself up on the big drawer and peer inside. today mommy let me choose my own wardrobe. i went with the red argyle socks and blue hawaiian print shorts outfit. a pastiche of travelers garments, i call it tourist chic, it's very vacay forward. i wanted to wear a straw hat and camera but mommy said i risked auntie lisa calling me fobby if i took it that far, she was probably right.

today i spent the day with auntie lisa and uncle andy again. i love it at their house. i've been working on my crawling with uncle andy. i think i'm getting the hang of it!

karate kid

move over ralph macchio and hillary swank. there's a new karate kid in town. i'm down with the dojo.

playtime with mommy

tonight mommy and i played in my room. we read books, played with my blocks and pushed a big empty diaper box around the floor. i had lots of fun with the box!

popeye

today i tried spinach. it was pretty yummy but it left me with a mild rash on my face. maybe i'll wait to try it again.

family swim

when mommy was a little girl her family used to go to family swim at the community pool every wednesday night. after swimming it was a big treat to go to Burger King for "whopper wednesdays" and mommy used to eat a whole junior whopper all by herself! we had family swim today at our friend Joan's house. she has a big pool in her backyard and she let us come and swim in it. i swam with uncle daren, auntie tay, and daddy and i snoozed with moPa:









it was a super fun day.
