family swim

when mommy was a little girl her family used to go to family swim at the community pool every wednesday night. after swimming it was a big treat to go to Burger King for "whopper wednesdays" and mommy used to eat a whole junior whopper all by herself! we had family swim today at our friend Joan's house. she has a big pool in her backyard and she let us come and swim in it. i swam with uncle daren, auntie tay, and daddy and i snoozed with moPa:









it was a super fun day.

my first camping trip

mommy and daddy and auntie lisa and uncle andy and i all went camping this weekend! what fun! i brought my own tent!

family fun day

today was my day with daddy again. mommy is busily working to finish her dissertation which means daddy and i get to hang out together on fridays. today we had lots of fun and daddy told mommy it was his most fun day with me so far! we slept in together like we always do and then i got some exercise with Leroy my jumperoo horsey while daddy ate his breakfast. mommy worked from home today on her paper and daddy and i went on a bear hunt, i wasn't scared. later we worked out in my play gym and then i had a nap while daddy went to the big people gym. when i work up i played with mommy and we had lots of fun. i played in my walker and then i sat up on my mat and played by myself for 40 minutes! i played with all my toys and then i played with dexter! when daddy came home i played some more with him! we all went to family swim at the pool tonight. the water was very cold and mommy didn't like it but i swam anyway. after we got out my gums were chattering and i was shivering but mommy warmed me up and put my jammies on me and daddy kept me warm. we had a super fun day!

wow! what a busy day today was! first i helped uncle and the grandpas build a gate:



then it was mommy and daddy's company picnic and i got to go and meet all the new babies that were born during the mini baby boom at mommy and daddy's work. there was wyatt and davis and vincent and nicholas and zachary... we all had so much fun playing together. everybody is bigger than me so i got a little roughed up but i'm pretty tough so i held my own. i shared my ball with zachary and spidey with davis and my paci with vincent!



after the picnic mommy and i raced to northwest where mommy had reserved a room at serratto for great-grandpa John's 84th birthday! our family had a lovely dinner and i was supposed to sleep but it was too exciting to sleep! i helped uncle andy pick some wine for dinner and everybody took turns holding me so mommy and daddy could enjoy a nice meal. we all had lots of fun.

didn't i just blog about how much i love my grandmas? well today my grandma laura came to visit. here is a pic of daddy and i waiting for mommy so we can go over to auntie and uncle's house to meet up with everyone:



when grandma arrived she of course brought me presents... i told you, i'm so spoiled!

grandmas

i love all my grandmas. i love my mimi, i love my grandma Laura, i love my GG and my great-grandmas Deloris and Carol and Louise and i love my Halmony- that's my korean grandma.

today i spend time with mimi while mommy worked on her dissertation. mimi took auntie tay to old navy to spend some of her nanny money and i went along. mimi bought me a new teddy bear and a new sun hat and auntie tay bought me some new clothes. i'm so spoiled.



after i came home from mimi's house we had dinner with Halmony, she was in Portland to visit auntie lisa and find a wedding dress for Susan so she made Korean bbq for mommy and daddy. mommy tried something called kim chi which is fermented cabbage. sounds yucky but mommy loved it!

today was my buddy Huddy's first birthday party!



it was my first "first birthday" party! we had lots of fun. the party was at his grandma's house and my friend Ethan (Huddy's cousin) was there too!



Huddy ate a cupcake which sure looked good and everybody sang to him! i brought him a truck.



we took a pictures with all the boys and i was having so much fun i couldn't keep my super long tongue in my mouth!



after Huddy's party we went to GG's house for a birthday party for auntie jessica. we had pizza and homemade ice cream, well the big people did, i enjoyed my yummy milk. it was such a lovely evening and i played in the backyard with mommy and MoPa:






last month for uncle D's birthday we gave him a Cuisinart ice cream maker so this month for auntie's birthday mommy gave her some vintage-inspired glass banana split and old-fashioned sundae dishes. i sure hope auntie makes me ice cream someday. i think it tastes kind of like my yummy milk... yummm-o!

today was my doggie cousin raphael's birthday party. it was at the dog park in hillsboro. my auntie jessica made a ninja turtle cake for raph. dexter was supposed to come to the party but he's super popular and mommy forgot he already had a hiking trip planned. mommy and i went to the party and had lots of fun with our family. here are some pictures:
